VQ Altima

Doesn't sound that special,
but what if I told you it was a first gen? And that total output should be about 625hp when the turbo is fitted.
Sorry, no right hand drive here.

So we pulled the KA and sold it and fitted a VQ30DE.
The old KA is pictured in the turbo Altima on one of the other project pages.
Nice fit, but I would recommend not trying this at home. By the way this engine and tranny combo weighs 110lb less than the old KA.

Engine compartment painted, motor mounts made, CV axles made, still waiting for some finishing touches.
