- Here is a basic install using the Shark Attack II in the factory
antenna hole and the factory antenna cable and power wire. This
is a basic install that takes roughly 10 min. and should get you
some points at the shows.
|
| |
- Remove the factory power antenna by removing the external mast
fastening nut and the 10mm nut on the bracket. Unplug the antenna
cable and the wiring harness
|
| |
- First is to mount the antenna in the factory hole. Here is
a shot of the inside of the quarterpanel. The fasting nut is
finger tight so the base is able to be adjusted. When it is
lined up tighten the nut.
|
| |
- Here is the antenna lined up. The next part is to plug in the
old factory antenna cable. If you have a powered Shark Attack
you will need to splice into the factory power plug, on this car
it was a gray with a black stripe, you need to have 12V+ when
the radio is on.

Here is the fruit of your labor.
This antenna looks like it was originally designed for this car. |
