• Here is a basic install using the Shark Attack II in the factory antenna hole on a 1994-2001 Acura Integra. This is a basic install that takes roughly 30 min.
  • Remove the retaining ring from the top of the antenna from the outside. Take some pliers and grip the metal ring on the top, it turns counter clockwise to remove. Be careful the gasket might be painted to the car. The new antenna will cover the paint marks if you do not peel a big spot.
  • Pull the rear panel, hatch light, strut cover and carefully pull the little plastic clips that hold the side panel in place (there are metal clips that can not been seen that hold the rest of the panel, if any of these are left in the body, remove and place back on plastic panel).

  • Remove the 10mm nuts that hold the power antenna motor assembly from inside the hatch. Unplug the antenna cable and power harness.
  • Slide the antenna assembly down and out through the inside of the hatch.

  • Make sure the antenna base gasket is in place before mounting.
  • The power wire and antennas connector can ether go through the attaching nut or sideways through the notch in the side of the attaching nut washer.
  • The attaching nut washer has a little plastic lock ring to prevent the antenna from loosening over time, if it is locking when hand tightening giving you trouble you can spray a little WD40 or similar to make it easier.
  • Line the antenna up from the outside before tightening the antenna the rest of the way, make sure the angle is what you want.
  • Connect the factory antenna cable.
  • Butt connect the red power wire from the antenna to the +12v wire on the factory antenna harness; in this case it was pink with white stripe. Use a test light or an OHM meter to verify.
  • All done, put the panels back on and wipe everything down.
